Willow Voice promo codes: the 30 percent discount, the referral month, and cancelling

Willow Voice's own promo codes are 30 percent off Pro for students, educators, nonprofit staff and volunteers, and active duty military and veterans. You email Willow proof that you qualify, and it sends a code. Separately, signing up through someone's referral link gets you one free month of Pro.

How to use a code
- On a Mac. Willow's help center says to upgrade from the dashboard or from Settings, Pricing, and enter the promo code during the Stripe checkout.
- On an iPhone. Tap Redeem Coupon Code on the upgrade screen and finish Apple's checkout.
- One subscription everywhere. Sign in with the same email and the same sign-in method, and Pro carries over between Mac and iPhone.
The referral reward only lands if the new user actually goes through checkout, even though the first month is free.
About the referral links you see
Every Willow user has a referral link, and a referrer earns a free month, or $15 of credit on a yearly plan, when someone upgrades through it. The help center also describes an email signature option that adds a dictated with Willow line with the user's referral link to every email.
So a code on a deals site is most likely someone's referral link. It still gives you the free month, and the person who posted it gets one too.
Cancelling Willow
- Bought on a Mac. Open Willow's Settings, choose Manage Billing, enter your purchase email, and cancel in the Stripe customer portal. The plan ends at the close of the billing period.
- Bought on an iPhone. Open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Willow, and cancel there.
- Not sure where you bought it. The help center says to email Willow support, which can point you to the right place.
Or pay nothing
Willow's free Basic plan already gives unlimited dictation on its smaller model. YapToText is free with no plan at all on an Apple silicon Mac.
- On the Mac. Both the speech model and the cleanup model run on your Mac, with no account.
- The trade. No iPhone or Windows app, no Scribe, and 29 languages against Willow's 100 plus.
