Wispr Flow promo codes and discounts: every way Wispr itself lowers the price
By Ryleigh Newman · Published
I do not have a Wispr Flow promo code to give you, and I will not repeat one from a coupon site, because I cannot verify it. What I can list is every discount Wispr describes on its own pages: yearly billing takes 20 percent off Pro, students and educators get half off or more, nonprofits pay $8 a month on the annual plan, and a referral link gives a new user a 30-day Pro trial instead of 14 days.
I built YapToText, a different dictation app for the Mac, so read what I say about Wispr Flow with that in mind. Every fact about Wispr Flow here comes from wisprflow.ai or its help center, read on October 9, 2026. Wispr's own pages do not agree with each other on every number, so each line below says which page it comes from.
This app is completely free. You don't have to make an account. There are no subscriptions, no difficult downloads, and nothing is locked. Made for Apple silicon Macs. Source on GitHub.

Every discount Wispr describes
From wisprflow.ai and its help center, read October 9, 2026. US dollars.
| Discount | What Wispr says | Where it says it |
|---|---|---|
| Yearly billing | Pro is $144 a year instead of $15 a month, which the help center calls a 20 percent saving. | Help center, plans |
| Students | Three months free for new subscribers who sign in with a .edu email, then $6 a month billed yearly. | Students page |
| Students, second version | Selected student accounts on Mac, Windows and iPhone qualify for a $0 annual plan with no credit card. Other recognized students get paid student pricing. | Help center, discounts |
| Educators | Students and educators with an education email get 50 percent off Pro. | Pricing page |
| Nonprofits | Pro for $8 a month on the annual plan, after you fill out a form and Wispr reviews it. | Nonprofits page |
| Referral, for the new user | A 30-day Pro trial at signup instead of the standard 14 days. | Help center, referrals |
| Referral, for you | One month of credit after your friend dictates 2,000 words or starts a subscription. | Help center, referrals |
| Other groups | Support accepts discount requests for military, senior citizen and accessibility support, each with documentation. | Help center, discounts |
Every one of these needs verification, and an education email alone does not guarantee free pricing. That line is Wispr's own, from its discounts article.
Where a promo code goes, and what I know about codes
- Codes exist. The nonprofits page says any discount codes you have can still be applied at checkout, and a help article says promo code signups may get a different trial or plan.
- Wispr's pages list no public code. I found no code printed on wisprflow.ai or in its help center on October 9, 2026.
- Partner promotions. The help center has articles for two partner promotions, one with CRED for 10 months of Pro and one with Zepto for 3 months. I have not read their terms.
- Coupon sites. I have not tested any code from a coupon site, so none are repeated here.
Wispr's pages name checkout as the place a code is applied, so that is where to try one you were given.
The student offer, read closely
Wispr describes the student offer three ways, so check in the app before you count on one.
- The students page. Sign in with a .edu email and the offer activates by itself: three months free, then $6 a month billed yearly. The three months are for new subscribers only.
- The pricing page. Students and educators with an education email get 50 percent off Pro.
- The help center. Student status is recognized at signup from a listed university domain or a .edu address. Selected accounts get a $0 annual plan with no credit card, and there is no monthly free student plan.
- No .edu address. The students page says to contact support to have the discount added.
The guide to dictation for students covers the free options on a Mac.
The referral program, with its conditions
- What your friend gets. They get a 30-day Pro trial at signup instead of the standard 14 days.
- What you get. You get one month of credit after your friend dictates 2,000 cumulative words, or has a subscription that is active or in its trial. Signing up alone earns nothing.
- Where it does not pay. With an active App Store or Play Store subscription, or on live team billing, your friends still get the trial but you earn no credit.
- The form of the credit. It is a billing discount, not cash. On the free plan it is banked until you buy an individual plan on Wispr's website.
- The limit. The help center puts the benefit limit at 1,000 referrals.
The nonprofits page describes the reward as a $10 credit and the students page as a free month for both people, so the help center's wording is the one I would trust.
If the goal is to pay nothing
There are two ways to dictate on a Mac without paying Wispr anything.
- Stay on Wispr Flow's free plan. It allows 2,000 words a week on desktop and 1,000 on mobile, and its help center gives the reset as Sunday at 23:45 UTC. The pricing page explains what happens at the cap.
- Use an app with no paid tier. YapToText, the app I make, is free with no word cap, no account and no trial. There is no code to find, because there is nothing to pay.
YapToText runs on one Apple silicon Mac with macOS 14 or later, and both of its models run on that Mac. It has no apps for Windows or phones, no meeting notes and no team features, so it does not replace Wispr Flow for everyone.
This app is completely free. You don't have to make an account. There are no subscriptions, no difficult downloads, and nothing is locked. Made for Apple silicon Macs. Source on GitHub.
The Wispr Flow alternative page compares the two, and the list of free dictation apps for the Mac has the other free choices.
The short version
- No verified code. Wispr's own pages print none, and I will not pass on one I cannot check.
- Real discounts. Yearly billing, student, educator, nonprofit and referral offers all come from Wispr itself.
- Read the conditions. Each discount needs verification, and the pages differ on the numbers.
- Free without a code. The free plan has a weekly cap, and YapToText has no cap and no price.
If something here no longer matches Wispr Flow's site, open an issue on GitHub and I will fix it. Every one gets read.

Questions
Is there a Wispr Flow promo code?
Wispr's own pages printed no public promo code on October 9, 2026. Codes exist, because its checkout accepts them, but I cannot verify the ones on coupon sites, so I do not list any.
Does Wispr Flow have a student discount?
Yes. Its students page says three months free with a .edu email, then $6 a month billed yearly. Its help center says selected student accounts get a $0 annual plan. Check the offer shown in the app.
Does Wispr Flow have a lifetime plan?
Not on the pages I read. Its help center lists monthly and yearly prices only, as of October 9, 2026.

Its nonprofits page says $8 a month on the annual plan, after you apply with a form and Wispr reviews it.
